HOW TO PUBLISH APPLICATION USING CITRIX DELIVERY SERVICES CONSOLE ON CITRIX XENAPP 6 SERVER

PUBLISHING APPLICATION :-

Launch Citrix Delivery Services Console from start menu-citrix folder-citrix delivery services console

A popup appears if .NET Authenticode signature is enabled for MMC: Citrix suggest to disable it in order to speed-up services console opening

The first time you launch the console, a wizard is displayed for discover your first citrix server:

select only XenApp on Products and components
 

Click on Add Local Computer to add our citrix server or click on Add button to add other citrix server:

On Citrix Delivery Services Console Go to your farm and right Click on Apllication and Select Publish Application

Click on Next

Assign a name for application, In this case we selected WordPad

Browse the application where located on your server, Click Browse and select

Select Application, Select Access from a server, Click on Next,

Select the server/servers which host the application. Click Add

Now XA server is available, Click Add and Click on OK

Add users or groups who are going to access the application. In order to do this go ahead and select Allow only configured users and click on Add

Select the Domain name , if you need to add users, click on check box , Show users, The best practice is  add groups, We are going to add Groups

Enter  domainname\username and password

Select Domain users  who will be able to access the Application

Click on Next

Select the check box of  Add to Client`s Start Menu and Add Shortcut as well

Click On Finish
